About Arturo O’Farrill
Arturo O’Farrill is a Grammy-winning jazz pianist, composer, and arranger, and a leading figure of Afro-Latin jazz. Founder of the Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra and son of the legendary bandleader Chico O’Farrill, he is celebrated for music that fuses Latin rhythms with big-band and modern jazz.

This framed cover is Centennial Suites (Zoho, 2022), a limited-edition vinyl release by Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. It marks the 100th birthday of his father, Chico O’Farrill. It pairs two large orchestral works, The Afro Latin Jazz Suite and Four Questions, and each won a Grammy when it first came out. The music is Afro-Cuban rhythm and big-band brass reaching far beyond Havana.
